Greensboro drivers can look forward to one of three engines under the hood of the GMC Acadia. Slotting in at the base of the lineup is a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine that makes 194 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. Winston-Salem drivers interested in more power behind the can look forward to a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine and a 3.6-liter V6 engine. The 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine makes 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The most powerful engine available with the new GMC Acadia is a 3.6-liter V6 engine 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. All three engines work in unison with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Standard Equipment
The base trim SL of the GMC Acadia features a robust mix of comfort, tech, and convenience features. The interior of the Acadia SL includes tri-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, five USB ports, and a manual liftgate. Pinehurst drivers can also look forward to a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine with the base SL trim, which includes 194 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. Pairing with the base engine is a 9-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
